As An Initial Step- Let Us Calculate Your Closing Costs!

In the event you are getting ready to sell your home in the near future- Rudolph Kaplan stands ready to answer what is often the most pressing question for our seller clients; “what will my net profit be from the sale of my home.”

As you likely are aware, there are several closing costs that must be paid as part of the transaction including realtor commissions, state, county and municipal transfer taxes as well as title company fees.  All of these closing costs must of course be deducted from the seller proceeds. Even if you are not under contract on your home, our team stands ready to provide a preliminary calculation for you. This is a complimentary service with no commitment to engage our firm when you eventually do enter into a sale contract.

To perform a calculation of your net profit, please send the following five items of information to drudolph@rudolphkaplan.com ;

1)    Your address;

2)    Your Property Index Number (a/k/a your home’s “PIN”);

3)    The estimated value of your residence. (For this calculation to be helpful, we encourage you to be as realistic as possible with this estimate!)

4)    Your approximate mortgage balance;

5)    Whether you do or do not escrow property taxes with your mortgage lender.

Within a couple of business days of receiving your information, we will email you a preliminary closing statement. If you would like, we can also schedule a brief phone call to go over the figures and answer any follow-up questions you may have!
